• Pro-Tip for Northern Ontario: These are critical for a strong start in our region. In Northern Ontario, we recommend placing a patty directly over the brood cluster in early spring (late March or April). This "jump-starts" the queen's laying and ensures the colony has a massive population of foragers ready to hit the ground running as soon as the first northern dandelions and willows begin to bloom.
