• Pro-Tip for Northern Ontario: In Northern Ontario, spring and fall feeding is critical for colony survival. On Manitoulin Island, we recommend using these pails directly over the inner cover hole with an empty deep box surrounding it. This setup keeps the syrup closer to the cluster's warmth, ensuring the bees can continue feeding even during the chilly nights common in the North.
